ダウンロードセンターでのWindows正規品のチェック始まる

日本のダウンロードセンターでもWindowsの正規品かのチャックが始まったようですね。
現在のところ“Microsoft Windows Journal Viewer 1.5 - 日本語”だけですけど、これから増えるのでしょね。
手順は、ちと面倒です……

とりあえず試験運用なので、チェックしなくてもダウンロードは可能とのこと。

[KB221101]BUG: Visual Basic App Crashes Passing UDT with String and Enum

全然関係のない別のことを調べていて偶然発見。とりあえずメモ。

VB製アプリから、C++製DLLを呼び出し、文字列(String)型と列挙(Enum)型を含むユーザ定義型を受け取るとクラッシュするらしい。
列挙(Enum)型でなく、長整数(Long)型にすることで回避。

この問題は、コンポーネントで CoRegisterMallocSpy を使用してデバッグ インターフェイス IMallocSpy を登録する場合に発生します。ヒープ ブロックの先頭を指していないポインタがヒープに返されると、ヒープが破損します。
